IsoGain™
Computer simulation has become an integral part both of fundamental EDFA design and even of fine-tuning performance during production. Fibercore Limited ships full and accurate simulation parameters with every IsoGain™ lot. These parameters are provided in hard-copy, as well as CSV files and encrypted files for use in Optiwave OptiAmplifier Lite™ (Version 4.0). Downloads of representative files are provided at the end of this section.

To load this data into OptiAmplifier Lite :
1. Load an appropriate template or project
2 Double click on the erbium doped fiber icon
3. At component filename click 'Load'
4. Browse source file to select appropriate file and path
5. Click 'Open'
6. Input password "fibercore" and click 'OK'
The file is now loaded and ready to go
