A range of polyimide coated, bend-insensitive singlemode fibers, specifically designed for seismic sensors ad distributed sensors used in the highly challenging environments of industries like oil and gas exploration. 

 

  • Ultra-low and low profile, bend-insensitive fibers for Downhole Seismic Geophone Sensors and High Temperature Distributed Pressure and Temperature Sensors
  • Survives composite embedded temperatures
  • Maintains composite material strength when embedded

Using the same polyimide coating of our HB-P range, these fibers offer the bend-insensitivity and photosensitivity of our high NA Singlemode fibers with the added benefit of being able to withstand short-term temperatures as high as 400°C (or 300°C continuous).
