CP1500Y

All-Silica, Erbium/Ytterbium Co-Doped Dual-Clad Fiber

A Major Breakthrough in High Power Laser and Amplifier Technology, CP1500Y was initially developed in 1999 for the exclusive use of Scientific Atlanta (and more recently Cisco), and was the World's first All-glass, Er/Yb co-doped, double-clad fiber and now this field-proven fiber is available for unrestricted sale to the open market.

CP1500Y is the only all-silica dual-clad fiber optimized for efficient energy transfer that fits standard ferrules, can be cleaved and spliced with standard equipment and delivers the same level of reliability as a standard fiber.
