Precision cleaving could not be simpler – load the fiber in, then press. No more complex sequences, clamps, tensioners, batteries or slides – just two simple steps, just like a stapler.
The OFC-2000 series is exceptionally versatile, with both straight and angle-cleave models suitable for every fiber in the Fibercore Limited range – including all 80 µm and HiBi fibers. The OFC-2000 will even cleave directly through the polyimide coating of Fibercore Limited HB800P and HB1250P fibers – without the need for time-consuming and potentially hazardous fiber stripping.
